FAQ V1.43-295
This module is a fully database driven FAQ module with built in search functionality. Categories, Related Files/FAQ's are supported. Binary files like archives, pictures etc. can be uploaded and referenced or directly displayed in the FAQ entry. Forwarding or linking of the FAQ is also implemented.

FAQ module for phpPhobos

Purpose of this module

This module provide Site Admins, User to setup a FAQ. However - for more discrete people - the possibility exists to show their FAQ contents to Registered Site Users only or to one dedicated users..
FAQ Submissions can be performed by any registered User - however the site admin moderates the access to the submissions. Means - he has to activate the FAQ.
For Formatting - some special BB-type support has been added. Very restricted though. Check the FAQ for more details.

Some Highlights of this FAQ Module

  • Display Existing Topic groups of the FAQ as Block.
  • FAQ Based on Database. Search capability integrated into Website Search-Function
  • Users can submit new FAQ entries - these will be moderated by the site admin
  • Admins can add, delete and modify all FAQ Entries
  • Admins can add, delete and modify Topics and Groups
  • ACL applied to FAQ Entries... E.g. an entry can be shown to the World Users, Site registered users or just to dedicated users)
  • Binary GUI Interface integration. means the user can upload binary files, and these will be linked to a specific FAQ Entry. Using BB-Type code, graphic files can be displayed inside the FAQ view
  • New submissions are mailed to the Admin
  • Related FAQ's can be configured
